With heavy hearts, we’d like to share the passing of Kwok Yeung Kwong (K.Y.), a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather at the age of 94 on September 23rd, 2025.

K.Y. enjoyed his life in the cold, wintry Great White North after leaving his home in Hong Kong to raise his four children, Kam (Marla), Wendy, Annie, and Victor (Ahn). He transitioned from wearing open-toe sandals to wearing snow boots; that's not easy for most people, but K.Y. was adaptable, versatile, and eager to start his new life in Canada.
K.Y. lived his life each day as it came. Enjoying moments with his family and friends. Cherishing time with his grandkids: Holden, Hope, Lindsay and Avy.

He also grew a love for sports, especially hockey. Every Saturday, he was glued to the screen watching Hockey Night in Canada and cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
He loved driving his cars, his cat Kassy, and his scotch and whiskey. He savoured a fine Chinese meal. He loved travelling to many places around the world.

Most importantly, he loved his wife, Yuk Chong. They found happiness and comfort in each other’s company and enjoyed every minute of it.

In return, his family will deeply miss him; his company, quirky sensibility and his love. Rest in peace, you deserve the best and will forever be in our hearts. We love you.

Join us to celebrate K.Y.’s life at Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 (9 am visitation and 10 am funeral).
