<div itemprop="description">King Hong Chan Peacefully surrounded by family on September 18, 2011, Hong was called home to God in his 83rd year. Predeceased by Wai Yin, his devoted wife of 44 years. Loving father of Bernita (Wally) and Kirby (Nicola). Cherished grandfather of Matthew and Jenna. He is survived by his brother Gord (Michele). Hong�s silliness, smile and laughter will always be cherished by his family and friends. The family wishes to acknowledge the devoted and loving care given to him by the staff (2 East-south) at Kensington Gardens for the past 4 � years and by the health care team at Toronto General Hospital over the past two weeks. The family will receive friends at the Visitation Centre in Mount Pleasant 375 Mt. Pleasant Rd. (East gate entrance) on Friday, September 23, 2011 between 6:00 � 8:30 p.m. A celebration of Hong�s life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Kensington Health Centre/Kensington Gardens. </div>
