Kin Chue Ng
August 14, 1943 - January 10, 2014
Kin Chue Ng, 70, of Mississauga, Ontario, beloved husband and father of Ella and Daniel, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Princess Margaret Hospital. Born in China to Park Fun Ng and Wai Han Wong, he spent his younger years in Hong Kong, moved to the United States to pursue his doctoral education, and then settled down in Canada contributing his talents and skills to nuclear safety before retiring in 2002 from Ontario Power Generation. Although Kin Chue did not get the chance to fulfill his life-long dream of winning the Nobel Prize on Physics, he was satisfied with his life-long contributions to ensure the safety of nuclear reactors as a Nuclear Safety Engineer.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Visitation Centre, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, Ontario M4T 2V8. Memorial donations may be made in Kin Chue's name to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
