<div itemprop="description">Kimberley (Kim) Cross passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at the Dorothy Ley Hospice in Etobicoke. Kim is survived by her wife Suzanne MacLellan and her son Sydney; her mother Marjorie Cross; her sisters Donna (John), Susie (Frank) and her brother Robert (Lisa). Kim was a very special Aunt to Daryl (Shannon), Mike (Colleen), Jennifer (Warren), Zachary, Emily, Andrew, Lucas, and Julianna. She was preceded in death by her father R. W. Gary Cross. Kim will be extremely missed by her family, friends, colleagues and the many families and children that she worked with as the Supervisor of the Weston Village Childcare Supervisor for 24 Years. Kim loved life, people, her dog Daisy and playing baseball, hockey and soccer. Kim was a very active and loved the outdoors, whether camping, canoeing, swimming or paddling in the paddle boat at the cottage. As long as Kim was outside she was happy. Kim especially loved her bike and rode at every opportunity. Kim treasured all the times she spent around roaring campfires with family or friends and savoured those special conversations she had with each and every one of us. She was a determined woman who stood by her beliefs, and not backing down or giving in, even at the end. She was a brilliant light that embraced so many of us when we needed it the most. The memories of her will be forever cherished by those who hold them, no matter how small. Her light will always shine in all our hearts forever. <br />A special thanks to the all the amazing CCAC ,Spectrum nurses, PSW&rsquo;s, We Care and for the long and continued on- going support from the Dorothy Ley Hospice especially the nurses and PSW&rsquo;s that enabled Kim to fully extend her life comfortably from just months to two years. <br />In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the Dorothy Ley Hospice. <br /></div>
