Born in Guangdong, China, Ms. Luong survived two major wars; the Second Sino-Japanese War and the Vietnam Civil War. She loves eating, watching dramas, playing mahjong with friends, and listening to the radio. Ms. Luong is the most happiest when her children and grandchildren visit her. Ms. Luong leaves behind five daughters, three sons, five son-in-laws, three daughter-in-laws, six granddaughters, three grandsons, two grandson-in-laws, a granddaughter-in-law, and one great-grandson. Ms. Luong peacefully passed away on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 7:15AM at St. Michael's Hospital.
