It is with a somber heart that we announce the passing of Kenneth Martin Batcher, a loved husband, father, brother and friend.

Ken passed on Sunday July 19, surrounded by family at 78 years old. Ken’s quick wit, sense of humour and a random magic trick is something that was with him until the very end, and something that he will be remembered for.

Throughout his life, Ken worked hard to provide for his family, his late wife Claire, and his loving daughters Nicole and Megan.
Outside of work, Ken loved to play cards and watch his favourite team, the Toronto Blue Jays. Ken was an avid baseball fan who made sure to tune in for every game.

Ken leaves behind a great legacy through his children. He will be deeply missed by all who had the experience of knowing him.

A Shiva will be held for Ken, at his sister Carolyn’s house, located at 11 Seinecliffe Road, Thornhill, on Sunday August 2nd and Monday August 3rd from 1-4pm each day.

In lieu of flowers, please treat your loved ones to their favourite meal in honour of Ken. His favourite was prime rib with all the fixings and he would love for everyone to enjoy a meal together and think of him.
