His medical team was regularly amazed at his ability to recover. <br /> <br /> Eventually it all became too much for his tiny body to take, but even then he gave us more time than anyone expected. <br /> <br /> Kendrick had a wonderful smile and became a star attraction in the NICU. His popularity meant even the nurses had to be restricted in their visits. He smiled with his big, bright eyes and even the toughest orderlies smiled back. <br /> <br /> For Mum and Dad, he continues to smile through his photos, toys and most importantly, in our memories. We hope our friends and family can also keep his smile alive in your own memories, and in your hearts.</div>
