<div itemprop="description">Surrounded by family, at Scarborough General Hospital on Thursday, September 19th 2013 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Bert Merpaw. Loving mother of Ann Marie Buchanan (Jack), Thomas Merpaw, Pauline and the late Patricia Merpaw. Devoted grandmother to Cheri (Zaheed) Jiwani, Kirsten (Bill) McCormick, Erica (Billy) Cowie and Adam Merpaw. Proud great-grandmother of Killian, Myles, Suraiya and Qamar. Survived by brother James Sayers (Hilda). Special thanks go to the outstanding staff of Craiglee Nursing Home for their constant care and compassion to Kathleen and her family through the years. <br /> <br />Kathleen will be dearly missed by all who knew her. <br /> <br />In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Ontario or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.</div>
