Kathleen (Kaye) Merle Lidster (nee Bryant), born December 22, 1932, passed peacefully with family on August 13, 2026. She leaves behind her son Robert Bruce Lidster and her three granddaughters Crystal Dawn Dorion, Jessica Dawn Lidster and Jennifer Kathleen Lidster, and their children Aiden, Dakota, Avah, Phoenix, and Sophie. Predeceased by her husband, Donald Lidster their beloved son Rick and daughter Kathy, as well as her five brothers and sisters Ethel, Harold, Gord, Milton, and Ronnie. Kaye will be remembered for her lively and witty personality at Livita Centennial in Oshawa, as well as her love of travel, reading and humming and singing along to her favourite songs. A small viewing with family and close friends will be held at 10am on Saturday, August 22 at 1200 Thornton Rd North at Thornton Funeral Centre, with an informal lunch social at Whiskey Johns at the corner of King St and Thornton Rd to follow.
