In memory of

Kathleen Ann "Chaddy" Brady

September 21, 1944 - May 12, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Kathleen (Chaddy) Ann Brady (McIlwaine).
Kathleen passed away after a brief illness with her family by her side and will be forever remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandma.
Kathleen is predeceased by her husband William Brady. Mom was a lover of all God's creatures, furry and feathered alike, and enjoyed spending time at the Cottage where the doors were always open ... provided you took your shoes off and shared a laugh!
Kathleen Ann Brady (81) was born September 21 1944 in Waterfoot Northern Ireland. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Kathleen and devoted sister to Hugh McIlwaine. Beloved mother to Kim(Shaun), Paul(Tamara), Peter(Chris) and Cliff(Katy) and grandma to Marie, Brendan, Ronan, Jaqlynn, Stella, Ava, Sofia and Olivia.
Kathleen was a dedicated nurse at Scarborough General Hospital and beloved by all who had the pleasure and warmth of her care and companionship.
Kathleen loved spending time at the cottage and an even bigger love for shopping at Bigley's in Bobcaygeon.

A memorial and celebration of life will be held at Pine Hills cemetery in Scarborough on May 27th from 9-11am followed by a gathering at the Black Dog Pub.
In Lieu of flowers please consider a donation to The Scarborough Health Network Foundation.

Moms favourite Irish Blessing

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
