Argilia, Mani, Greece) March 13, 1934-July 3, 2014 <br />Zaharoula/mama/yiayia/theia was a beautiful person; full of love and loved by all. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her, with her unconditional love and generosity of spirit( .. while smothering you with kisses). She is survived by and will be sorely missed by her beloved husband of 60 years, Geogios Karounos; her cherished children Aphrodite and Eleftherios, Taso and Marisa, Peter and Helen, Mary and Panikkos, Daisy; her precious grandchildren Anastasia and Konstantinos, Zaharoula and Demetrios, Constantine and Sandra, Zacharoula, George and Tiffany Zacharoula, Evdokia and Jon, Demetra and Markos, Anthousa and Andrew, Andrew and Victoria, George, Mike: her treasured great-grandchildren-Aggeliki, Athanasios, Eleftheria, Alistair; her surviving siblings George and Konstantina, Sotiris, Potitsa, Polychronia, Ioanna and Vaggelis, Dina and Kostas, Ourania. She was adored and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday July 6, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm at the ELGIN MILLS VISITATION CENTRE 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill ( 905-737-1720). Funeral services will be held on Monday July 7, 2014 at 1:00 pm at St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church of Markham, 11323 Warden Avenue, Markham ( 905-887-7311) Reception afterwards. <br />In memory of Zacharoula, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.</div>
