June 17, 1959 – December 31, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Dyer on December 31, 2025, following a long and courageous journey with Crohn’s and Colitis. Karen fought her illness with incredible strength, quiet determination, and grace, never losing the deep love she held for her family.
Karen was the beloved wife and best friend of Steve, with whom she shared 41 wonderful years of marriage. She was a devoted and loving mother to her sons, Joe, and Chad (Angela), and her greatest joy came from being a grandmother to Austin, Skylar, and Trent. She was also a great-grandmother to little Watson.
Karen is lovingly remembered by her brother Jamie and sister-in-law Kristine, along with many brothers- and sisters-in-law’s. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she cherished deeply and loved enormously, each holding a special place in her heart.
She was predeceased by her parents, Al and Barbara Simpson.
Above all else, Karen was a woman whose life revolved around love — love for her family, love for her grandchildren, and love shown through her kindness, loyalty, and quiet strength. Her warmth and compassion touched many lives, and her absence leaves a profound void. She will be forever missed, lovingly remembered, and held close in the hearts of all who knew her.
