<div itemprop="description">June Lenahan (Erskine) passed away with family and loved ones by her side at Dorothy Ley Hospice on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. She was born May 10, 1936 in Cobourg, Ontario to Harry and Lily Erskine (Jackson). <br /> <br />June graduated in 1958 as a Registered Nurse from Bellville School of Nursing. She enjoyed a fulfilling career while raising her four daughters with late husband Gary. <br /> <br />A loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by daughters Kelly McMahon (Jon), Kari Lenahan (Benoit Whissel), Kathy Morano (Joe) and Karen Curran (John). Grandmother to Jodi Crispino, Connie and Connor Morano, Benjamin Curran and great grandson Keenan Davies. <br />Sister to Douglas, Norman, Bill, Kenneth and twin sister Joyce (Burt). Sister-in-law to Terry and Kim Lenahan. June also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends. <br /> <br />During her brave battle June was tenderly cared for by her loving partner Stanley McGowan. Her family will be eternally grateful for his love and devotion. <br />On Monday, February 1, 2016 family and friends will be received at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, ON L4W 5J1, 905-602-1580. Service at 11:00am, followed by a reception. <br />A celebration of June&rsquo;s life will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 101 at 2:00pm. 3850 Lakeshore Boulevard West, Etobicoke, ON. <br />In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Princess Margaret Hospital. <br /> <br />&ldquo;To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.&rdquo; &ndash; Clyde Campbell <br /></div>
