Joseph B. Kennedy (1943-2026)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Bart Kennedy, who departed this life peacefully on January 1, 2026, at the age of 82. Joseph (Bart) was born on December 1, 1943, in Bellshill, Scotland, to George and Agnes Kennedy. Joseph (Bart) was a dear brother to Jim, Bill and George.

Joseph (Bart) was a dedicated husband to Ruth, his loving wife for 60 years. A devoted father to Colin and Gilllian. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren, Aaron, Ethan, Jordan, Kassandra and Rachel. He was also a proud great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren, Olivia, Theo, Dylan and Sage.

Joseph (Bart) was a hardworking simple man that was an industrial painter by trade and finishing his working career as a Manager working for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft overseeing the processing of passenger airplane wings.

Joseph’s (Bart) kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten.
