Jose Dutra
December 3, 1944 - November 8, 2014
Jose passed away peacefully, with his loving family and dear freinds at his side, on Saturday, November 8th, 2014 at Princess Margaret Hospital at the age of 69 years. His long but courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma has come to rest. With all of the obstacles that he was faced during his countless treatments, he always said "I'm hanging on for another day."
A lover of life, family and friends. Always enjoying the outdoors whenever possible, whether it was up north at the trailer, fishing and golfing.
Loving husband to Maria and proud father to Michelle and Maria Dutra and grandfather to Maya Dutra D'Alessandro and Ethan Lee Bowman. A cherished brother to Fernanda Anand and to the deceased Melania Perreira and Maria Kovaks. He will be forever remembered and sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, extended family and close friends here in Canada, Portugal and The United States.
Jose's favourite time of year was the Christmas Season. In his honour he has requested that we all wear something in the colour red for his Memorial.
Please take a moment to sign the online guestbook.
