With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Jordan Damjanovski, our dear father and grandfather. He was the kindest man we knew. A devoted family man, he was always there for his wife, kids and grandchildren.
Born in 1939 in Bitola, Macedonia, Jordan grew up loving sports and developed into a preeminent athlete. He excelled at track and field and became a national sprinting champion. He studied art at Skolata za Primeneta Umetnost, and there he met his beautiful wife. Jordan worked as a professional artist for many years, before bravely moving his young family to Canada in 1970.
He was a very hard worker, and an honest man with good principles. Jordan valued family, heritage and tradition. He loved sports, art, chess, gardening, his Maple Leafs and Blue Jays, and most of all, dancing all night with his beautiful Liljana. Jordan was called home to be reunited with his wife of 62 years on May 8th, 2026.
He passed peacefully at home with family by his side. Jordan leaves behind his son Sashko (Kim), daughter Gordana (Steve), his cherished grandchildren, Alexander, Elle, Patricia, and Rory, his brother Kire and sister Zore.
