Retired Detective Sergeant served 38 years Peel Regional Police
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John. Surrounded by family at Brampton Civic Hospital, John was called home by our Lord on April 27, 2014. Survived by his wife & soul mate of 40 years Brenda (Amyotte), loving children Terri (Shane) and Ryan, sisters Cathy (Gary) & Ellen (late Jim), brothers Michael, Larry (Rebecca), nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Mortimer & Katherine, brother Peter (Francies). Friends will be received at the Meadowvale cemetery and visitation centre 7732 Mavis Rd, Brampton ON May 1, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on May 2, 2014 at St. Mary's Church (66A Main St S, Brampton). Cremation to follow. The family would like to thank the staff of Mississauga Trillium & Brampton Civic Hospitals. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's name to a charity of your choice.
