<div itemprop="description">TAKEDA, Shuji John - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Takeda due to complications from Parkinson's disease on Friday, January 31, 2014, in his 84th year. John will be deeply missed by his wife of 56 years, Shizue (Susan) and his children, Donald (Barb), Julie, Peter (Tammy), Glen (Helen) and Paul (Sarah). His legacy will live on with his beloved grandchildren, Rebecca, Vanessa, Jake, Grace, Emily, Hannah, Sebrina (Mike) and his great-grandchildren Ryan, Jayden, Zander and Gabbi. He will be remembered by his brother John Hideo, nephews and nieces. Family and friends are invited to a reception at Pine Hills Cemetery on Wednesday, February 5th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, ON M1K 1R1.
