Passed away at home, as he wished, surrounded by his children and grandchildren at the age of 73.
Dedicated Dad of Rosemary (Nizar), Frances (Robert), John Jr. (Debra), Lionel (Gail) and Jason (Karen), the proud Gramps of Daniel, Kyle, Malcolm, Joshua, Aaron, Melanie, Safiyyah, Anisah, Amirah, Jessica and Dylan and the adoring Great Grandfather (G-G) of Jameson. Predeceased by his cherished brothers Kenneth and Cecil. He will be sadly missed by many extended family and friends. A special thank-you to the dedicated workers of the Toronto Western Hospital and the Scarborough Community Care Access Centre for all their kindness, care and assistance. A memorial service will be held at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Sunday, May 4 at 10 a.m. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, DONATIONS MAY BE MADE TO THE SALVATION ARMY OR THE TORONTO WESTERN HOSPITAL: NEUROSURGERY RESEARCH.
