John Phillip Stevenson
July 11, 1949 - October 1, 2026
Sadly, John died peacefully on October 1, 2026. He is survived by his wife Linda (nee Thomasson), his daughters Julia and Philippa (Pippa), son-in-law Kari, and by his brother Andy and sister-in-law Francine, ad well as brother- and sister-in-law Clive Thomasson and Debbie Zwicker, and nephew Simon Thomasson. His Thomasson family in Australia: Andrew, Amanda, Freya and family, Sian, Ella, and Georgia also mourns his loss.
A private family burial has taken place at Toronto Necropolis. A memorial celebration, “Memories and Music,” will the place on Friday October 23, from 2-4 pm at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre, Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, a donation to The 519 Church Street in aid of trans youth, or to a charity of your choice, would be appreciated.
