John Jung-Yee Lee
June 2, 1956 - December 22, 2015
John Jung-Yee Lee
On the morning of December 22, 2015, John passed away suddenly due to natural causes at the tender age of 59.
John was born in Guangdong, China on June 2, 1956. He was the first child and son of Teddy Lee and Sui King Lee. John immigrated with his family to Canada when he was 9 years old and grew up with his two younger brothers - Peter and Jack - and helped care for them as they grew up in Montreal.
John was a kind-hearted indvidual who would treat his younger brothers to snacks and teach them new games. Ice cream was a common enjoyment that he would extend to his younger brothers. On a special occassion he bought home a normal calculator from school and tricked his brothers into thinking he was calculating their IQ with it.
John is survived by his wife and two children - Jennifer and Steven - who remember their dad as an active, passionate sport enthusiast including his recent obsession with golf. As a father, he was always a cheerleader and supportive in moments that were needed, but strict when required.
