Surrounded by the love of his family, Jack died peacefully on February 2, 2026 at the age of 85.
He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Don (Denise), Karen (Mark), Jackie, Ken (Cheryl), and predeceased by his youngest son, Glenn.
He was a proud and devoted papa to Crystal, Darryl, Matthew, Victoria, Amanda, Jonathan, Krystina, Cory, and Christopher, and his great-grandchildren, Noah, Kira, Colton, Chloe, Aaliyah, Carter, Dayton, McKenzie, Rylan, Tristan, Mason, Jaxson, Isla, Alec, Adalynn, Chase, Nash, Scarlet, and Melody. Jack is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Ada, and his brother Doug. He will also be remembered by his neighbours and his coffee friends at the Pickering town center. He loved and played sports, golf, baseball, hockey, and bowling. He coached many years at McGregor Park and was fondly remembered by the hockey community as he was rewarded “best coach award” (this reward was the first ever given) his love of sports continues and is lived through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre,
