It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of our treasured John.

He was the devoted husband of the late Anita, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and unwavering love. A proud father, John will be forever remembered by his sons Jamie, Daniel and Michael who will carry forward his strength and values.

John was a cherished grandfather to Austin, Amberley, Arya and Tyson. He is survived by his loving mother Julia, sisters Rose, Lina and Anna and predeceased by his father Manuel. He is fondly remembered by his mother-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

John was proud of his Portuguese heritage which was reflected in his love of food and tradition. He was an avid gardener who found joy in growing his own vegetables and was a wonderful cook who delighted in preparing meals. Movies were one of his favorite pastimes and watched them often. As a lifelong fan of Rock and Roll he believed music was meant to be felt and heard at full volume. Just as important, was the special bond he had with his loyal dog Loki, a faithful companion.

John will be sorrowfully missed by all who knew and loved him.
