It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, John Diamantouros, who passed away peacefully at home on October 10th, 2025, in his 86th year.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 60 years, Eleni (Psihopedas), his loving children, Roula (Stanley Tsimicalis) and Peter (Sia Makris), and his cherished grandchildren, Peter, Alaina, Yianni, and Charlie. He will also be deeply missed by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. John was predeceased by his siblings Dimos (Kanella Giannakopoulos), Georgia (George Xanthakos), and Christos.

John will be remembered as a kind, wise, witty, and hard-working man deeply devoted to his family and immensely proud of his roots. He led by example, consistently placing others before himself and living with quiet strength and humility. His love for his grandchildren, his garden, and his Greek heritage shone brightly in all he did. A lifelong learner, John was rarely without a book in hand, especially on subjects like history, philosophy, genealogy, and his beloved village of Arahova (Karyai). When he got his first iPad, it opened a whole new world for him fuelling his curiosity and bringing endless joy as he explored new ideas, stories, and connections.

His legacy is one of love, wisdom, and unwavering integrity, a life well-lived and deeply cherished by all who knew him.

Rest in peace, beloved husband, father, papou, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Kalo Paradiso!
