<div itemprop="description">Ernst, Joan Lorraine (nee Pye) <br />After a lengthy battle with cancer, Lorraine passed away on July 29, 2013 at the age of 77. She leaves behind her husband Walter after 55 years of marriage, her brother Wayne, children Brian, Dianne, Denise and grandchildren Kira, Conner, Parker, Jaegar and Tyler. Lorraine, from Nova Scotia was known as a very friendly and sociable person who was always ready for discussion of family issues to contribute her thoughts and background. After marriage, in 1958, she had taught elementary school for over 10 years in Ontario and then switched to accounting while raising her family. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ottawa Carleton Cancer Centre or the Toronto Sunnybrook Cancer Centre would be appreciated. Memorial condolences may be forwarded through www.etouch.ca Lorraine will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace. <br /></div>
