In memory of

Jeneveve Matilda Persaud

June 12, 1949 - June 28, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jenny Persaud on June 28, 2026, at the age of 77.
Born on June 12, 1949, in South America, Jenny was the youngest child of Claris and Joseph, joining her two sisters and brother. In the 1970s, she immigrated to Canada, where she met and married her husband Sonny, in Toronto, Ontario. They had three kids, Ronald, Roslyn, and Rosie, and later two grandkids Rosen and Kaiya, who she cherished immensely.

Jenny dedicated more than 40 years of service to CIBC, where she built a long career in accounting before retiring. She was a faithful member of her church community and found happiness in simple pleasures, including watching game shows, reading, completing crossword puzzles, gardening, crafts (and in recent years) became an enthusiastic hockey fan.

Jenny was predeceased by her beloved husband Sonny, her parents Claris and Joseph, and her two sisters and brother. Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Ontario Shores and Lakeridge Gardens for the compassionate care and support they provided during her later years.

Jenny has been laid to rest with her mother in a private burial. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will have the opportunity to gather, share memories, and honor her life.

Forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered. ❤️
