Jeffery Chen, 55, residing in Sandusky, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
Jeffery was born June 25, 1970 in Montreal, Canada to Hua-feng Joseph and Pi-Shia (Tung) Chen.
Jeffery completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and later earned his degree of Dental Medicine from Case Western Reserve University. He then completed his residency at St. Luke’s Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
He worked at Bright Now Dental for 26 years, where he enjoyed serving the Sandusky community and working with his colleagues, who treated him like family. Jeffery was a member of the Cleveland Museum of Art and many other organizations dedicated to nature and the environment. In his spare time, he enjoyed running, music, the arts, cheering for the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Toronto Blue Jays, and travelling the world. This included travelling back home to Canada to spend time with his cherished family and friends.
Jeffery is survived by his parents, sister, Jolie Chen; and his Bright Now Dental family.
Friends and family may call on Sunday, January 4, 2026 to celebrate Jeffery’s life from 1-3 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Group - Elgin Mills Cemetery Cremation and Funeral Centres – Richmond Hill, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, Ontario.
