Against the backdrop of a beautiful sunset, Jean Wilson slipped quietly from this life into the next. Her breath and being were light as silk, her transition peaceful and unburdened. She left the world with the same grace she carried through it, just shy of her ninety-ninth birthday.
Jean lived with an elegance that was entirely her own. She looked immaculate wherever she went, not out of vanity but out of reverence for the precious nature of being alive. Her dearest friends at the salon cared for her with affection, helping her meet each day in these twilight years with dignity.
She is lovingly survived by her granddaughter, Ashley, who adored her with every ounce of her being. Though her chair now sits empty, there is comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband George, her cherished daughter Helen, the dear Graham family (Wendy, Sadie, and Derek), and her faithful little companion Munch.
Those who knew her will remember the warmth of her laughter and smile, the sincerity of her listening, and the gentle way she turned ordinary moments into memories. Her presence will linger in the small and tender things: a cup of coffee shared, calm afternoons reading, and the quiet expressions of care to those we continue to hold dear.
In the hush of night, when our inner and outer world grows still, may we look up and find her there, shimmering softly in the moonlight.
