Janice Annette Porter (nee Borley)
After a 3 year courageous battle with cancer, Janice passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Bethell House Hospice in Inglewood, Ontario. She was born in Toronto on September 29, 1949 to Keith and Ruby Borley. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Robert Leith Porter; 3 daughters, Cheryl Grant (Andrew),Tracy Faulds and Tamara Honiball (Jason Fahey); sisters, Sharon Guadagno (Reg) and Leigh Ann Royal (Jay); 5 grandchildren, Christine Faulds, Michelle Faulds, Rowynne Grant, Malcolm Grant, and Gaige Honiball. She is also survived by Bob's 4 sons and 6 grandchildren Brad (Allison), Jeff (Kirsten), Greg (Sue-Anne) and Jason (Rose).
Family was very important to Janice and she carried on the tradition from her Mother of hosting birthday parties and holiday dinners. She was the heart of the family and everyone was welcome in the Porter house. She had a strong work ethic and was also very focused and organized. Janice could accomplish just about anything she put her mind to. These qualities followed her throughout her 30 year career in the Plumbing Industry, where she was respected and admired by her customers, peers as well as her competitors.
