Jane Esther Miller-Pritchard, age 69, passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on April 5, 2026, in North Bay.

Born on January 3, 1957, in Toronto, Jane was the beloved daughter of Ida and Bob Miller, loving wife to Jim (James) Allan Pritchard, and loving sister to Dianna, Glen, and Linda.

Jane was a dedicated, loving, and amazing mother to Robert (Robbie), Jonathon, Troy, Kevin, Jamie, and Jessica. Proud grandmother of Gage, Deacon, Jade and Scarlett. Her love extended far beyond her own family, as she spent many years babysitting local children and genuinely caring for every one of them as if they were her own.

Jane worked hard throughout her lifetime and found success in her career as a mail carrier with Canada Post, where she dedicated more than 20 years of service. Yet, if asked what her greatest accomplishment was, she would likely say it was writing Santa letters to children — something that brought her immense joy and touched countless young hearts over the years.

Anyone who knew Jane had the privilege of experiencing unforgettable memories at the cottage. She loved bringing family and friends together and spent her life creating moments filled with laughter, warmth, and love.

Jane will always be remembered as the devoted and family-oriented, fiercely loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend she was. Her kindness, strength, and unconditional love will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
