<div itemprop="description"> <p> Nevins, Grant <br /> Passed away peacefully in his home on January 23, 2012. Beloved husband of Alice, loving brother of Gayle and Dave (Harvey), Bryne and Betty, Guy and Johanne, and brother-in-law of Antje and Jerry (Veltman), Teresa and Tjisse (Kalverda), and Marilyn (Castelein). &nbsp;Fondly remembered by many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by his parents, Wesley and Ida (nee Arnott), and brother-in-law Abel. </p> <p> Grant was born in Niagara Falls and later moved to Mississauga where in 1971 he met Alice. &nbsp;They married in 1985, spending a total of 40 years together. </p> <p> </p> <p> He worked at various occupations including drafting, gas fitter, service station attendant and warehouse/ shipping/receiving manager before he found the job he liked the best, driving delivery truck.&nbsp; <br /> <br /> As the conversation at home usually revolved around cars, his passion for cars, especially fast ones, started at a young age. Although he never raced(on a race track), he spent many enjoyable hours watching various types of racing including drag racing, open wheel racing but enjoyed Nascar the best. </p> <p> Grant&rsquo;s wonderful sense of humour and kind heart will be greatly missed by family and friends. </p> </div>
