In his 98th year passed quietly while in the care of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center-Veterans Wing. Loving husband of the late Christine Stephen, sadly missed by step-son Mason (Lorraine) Williamson, Grandson James (Michelle) Williamson and Great granddaughters Kaylei and Lainey. Survived by his brother Gordon, uncle to Sharon, Jacqui and Grant whom have many memories together. Special thoughts to his family and friends in Scotland and elsewhere. A proud member of the Canadian Military and a veteran of the 5th Royal Canadian Light Artillery Regimen, who fought in the Italian campaign of WW II and the liberation of Holland. A good dad and a good man. Special thanks to the staff at Fellowship Towers, Sunnybrook Long term care section “L Wing”, for making his stay comfortable.
Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 10:30-11am followed by Funeral Service in the Chapel and Interment.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sick Kids Foundation.
