Passed away peacefully on October 23rd 2015 at the age of 59, at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife and best friend of 30 years Pamela May Bixel and their daughters Sarah May and Shanna Louise (Cash). Born in Scotland on September 16th 1956 to his loving parents Anne (nee Wilson) and the late Matthew Kerr. Beloved big brother of Laura Anderson (Dave). Jimmy's love and laughter will be missed by the Bixel family Arthur (father-in law), the late Sonya (mother-in-law), his three sisters-in-law Lisa (Rob), Laura (Ralph) and Tracy. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces Melissa Gubins, Hilary Gubins (Steve), Lindsay Anderson (Dave) and Jennifer Anderson (Abe) and the extended Kerr family. Jim loved his sons from a distance Tyler James and Corey Nicholas.
Jim loved the outdoors, spending time on his boat, building campfires and riding his chopper. He was a long time employee of Oldcastle Glass.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Cannabis Rights Coalition and Sunnybrook Hospital. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Sunnybrook Palliative Care Unit for the fine care Jim received.
