<div itemprop="description">Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26, 2013 in Mississauga. Survived by his loving wife Margaret of 59 years. Cherished dad of Garry (Cindy), James, Derrick (Catherine), Gail (Dean) and Lynn (Glenn). Proud &ldquo;Poppy&rdquo; of Peggy, Melissa (predeceased), Veronica, Michael (Karen), Shawn, Jana, Daniel, Nicole, Morgan, Brandon and Shannon. Great &ldquo;Poppy&rdquo; of Tyler, Madison, Liam and Lucas. Dear brother of Barbara (Pat), David (Kate), Basil, Virginia, Alma (Jim), Ronald (Louise), Dermot (Deb), Judy (Tom), Michael (Vicki), Daniel and Mary (Doug). Predeceased by Gervaise, William, Bridget and Shirley. Sister-in-laws Bernice and Rose, brother-in-law Alfred (Violet). James will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many family and friends in Ontario and Newfoundland. Friends will be received at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre-Mississauga 1535 South Gateway Road (2 blks south of Eglinton on Dixie Road) on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 11 a.m. Private Cremation. If so desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.</div>
