James Christopher Feeney, 75, passed away on October 22, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Marie, devoted father to Mike (Ashley) and Rosemary (Jason) and proud grandad of Logan, Ben, Abby and Aidan. He was the pillar of the family, an unwavering source of strength and knowledge and made it his priority to help and look after his family and dear friends.

He was the kindest and most patient person both in and out of the classrooms where he taught for 30+ years. In retirement James attended countless Mirvish plays with his sister Maureen and was an avid golfer, leaving his mark on his favorite public course, Dentonia. When the time came, James leaped at the opportunity to begin his new role as grandad. He cherished every moment spent with the grandkids; from picking up/dropping off at school, taking them on adventures to the mall and play-places and defusing tantrums as only he could with unlimited patience and wisdom.

Even though he left us too soon, his teachings will continue to guide his family as we move forward, remaining forever in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday November 7th at the Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough. The celebration will start at 5 p.m. with a brief service at 5:30 p.m. followed by a reception.
