James C. Richardson
June 6, 1926 - September 6, 2015
James C. Richardson, (Jim) was born in Maryhill Scotland June 6, 1925 to William and Christine. He died September 6, 2015 in his 89th year after a severe fall resulting in traumatic head injuries.
Jim immigrated to Canada in 1958 and is survived by his wife Jane Richardson, daughter June Lawrence (Winston), son David Richardson (Patricia), his grand children Kristin Timpany (Aaron), Morgan Lawrence, James Richardson, Stephanie Guy (Ryan), great grandchildren Jase and Isaiah, his brother Billy Richardson (Betty) and family, cousin Tom Shepherd and family, the Cathcart clan in Scotland and the entire Williams and Russell families.
Jim had a few jobs in his lifetime but his love was working at the Toronto Golf Club. For 25 years Jim worked in the maintenance department cutting the rough in the early morning and a round of golf in the afternoon. He endeared everyone with stories of wild coyotes, snakes and rabbits. He knew every inch of the majestic courses and took pride in his work.
A celebration of Jim's life will be held at the Toronto Golf 1305 Dixie Road, Mississauga, Ontario L5E 2P5, Sunday September 20, 2015 2:00-4:00 pm.
