<div itemprop="description">Irene Blank, age 87, passed away in her home in Scarborough, Ontario on Wednesday April 20 2016. <br /> <br />Born December 10 1928 in Warsaw, Poland to Wolodymyr and Waletyna Zateplinsky. The family was relocated to Germany in WWII. Irene resided in Augsburg, Germany until 1965 during which time she met and married Gottfried Blank (1932-2009). Together with their daughter, Tamara Schlink (nee Blank), they immigrated to Canada and settled in Scarborough, Ontario. Irene worked at Woolco for over twenty years where she made great friends and left lasting impressions. Irene loved her long walks, lottery tickets and tomatoes from her garden. <br /> <br />She will be sadly missed by her daughter, son-in-law Timothy Schlink and her beloved grandchildren Nadine and Michael Schlink. <br /> <br />Memory Eternal</div>
