<div itemprop="description">Born in Riga, Latvia on January 21, 1927, passed away peacefully at Kristus Darzs Latvian Home in her 88th year, with her sister and goddaughter by her side on Thursday, September 3, 2015. Dear sister to Arija and her husband Valdis Grasmanis. Cherished aunt and godmother to Karen, beloved aunt to Peter (Elisabeth) and special great-aunt to Peter and Matthew. Imanta will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at YORK VISITATION CENTRE (160 Beecroft Rd., north of Sheppard Ave., west of Yonge St. 416-221-3404) on Monday, September 14, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kristus Darzs Latvian Home. <br /></div>
