<div itemprop="description">After a brave 9-month battle with cancer, our beloved mother succumbed to her illness. Pre-deceased by her husband of 55 years,Drago, Ilmi is survived by her 5 children and 10 grandchildren as well as her brother Viljo Malinen in Helsinki, Finland and her sister Eeva Liisa Blinnikka in Alicante, Spain. She was much loved and will be greatly missed by her family, both in Canada and in Europe, as well as her many friends. <br /> <br />A special note of gratitude to the nursing staff, support workers, volunteers and friends at Suomi Koti Senior Residence and Nursing Home for their care and compassion.</div>
