Hugo Chien Wu, 98, of North York, Ontario, passed away in peace on Wednesday, 6 May 2015.
Born on 19 July 1916 in Zhe Jiang, China, Hugo was the second son of late Feng-Zhang Wu and Yu-Feng Chen.
Hugo was preceded in death by his first wife, Bess Ho, and later by his second wife, Margarita Shao-Ling Wang. He is survived by his eldest daughter: Shirley (spouse: T.C.); second daughter: Jisu (spouse: Jia Ji) and his son: March (spouse: Annie); stepdaughters: Jacqueline and JJ (spouse: Michael). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Lena (spouse: Shawn), Yvonne (spouse: Christopher), Jian Yu (spouse: Wan Ling), Darren (spouse: Jennifer), Jonathan, Nicholas, Jay and Yi. Hugo is further survived by his great grandchildren: Zane, Miranda, Claire, Allison and Logan.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, 10 May 2015 at York Cemetery and Visitation Centre.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. prior to the memorial service.
