Born on January 28, 1957, it is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Howard Thomas Hunt, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in the Palliative Care Unit at Scarborough General Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.

Howard was predeceased by his parents, Roy Thomas Hunt and Violet Hunt, and by his brother, Bryan Roy Hunt (Katrina).

He leaves behind Mary Hunt (née Accaputo), with whom he shared many years of marriage; their daughter, Brittany (Brian); and his two grandchildren, Bella and Arion. He is also survived by his dear cousin-in-law and close friend, Joe Pappalardo (Lucy), who cared for him and remained by his side until the very end, as well as Joe’s family, Eva (Brent) and John (Rochelle).

Howard also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and godchildren, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Howard built his career to becoming a Top Sales Person at Gestetner Canada. He also dedicated countless hours to charitable organizations and community service. He was especially passionate about the Shrine Circus, an organization that was near and dear to his heart.

Howard will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
