It is with great sorrow that the McKenzie family announces the passing of Mr. Herman Winston McKenzie who left this earth early on the morning of Sunday, May 24th, 2026 after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

Herman had a bountiful life lived across Canada as well as his homeland of Jamaica. McK secured an abundant life for those in his care by the means of his two hands and a relentless dedication to the profession of painting and home decorating, among other endeavours.

He was truly a man who lived for the purpose of family and is remembered fondly by his wife Colleen, children Winston, Rosie-Ann, Ann-Marie, Herman Jr., Brandon, mother Agnes as well as his grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom can still hear him calling for, “Mooooooooore stuff!”

A memorial viewing will be held on Monday, June 15th, 2026 at The Simple Alternatives Funeral Centres – Mississauga located at 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga ON, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

This will be followed by a graveside funeral service the next day on Tuesday, June 16th, 2026 at Meadowvale Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centres located at 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton ON, commencing at 1:00pm.
