It is with profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother Helga Klingel age 87 of Etobicoke who passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on July 7, 1938 in Karlsruhe, Germany she was the daughter of Wilhelm and Sophie Schweigert, dedicated her life to her family and a fulfilling career at the Royal Bank. She loved swimming at the local pool with her friends and loved visits from her family. Her favorite saying was Que Sera Sera, whatever will be, will be and that is how she lived her life.

She is survived by her family, including sons John and Ralph, their wives Indra and Becky, grandchildren Michelle, Lisa, Shannon, William and Melanie, and great grandchildren Benjamin, Sophie, Charlotte, Summer, Weston and Sawyer. She was predeceased by her husband Rolf in February 2025. The Celebration of Life will be held at The Simple Alternative Funeral Home, 1535 S Gateway Rd, Mississauga, Ontario on July 22, 2026 from 4 - 6 p.m. Memorial donations suggested to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
