With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Helen (Lena) Yiouroukis on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in her 100th year. She now joins her loving husband of 79 years, Sotir (Sam), deceased
September 2024.

Born to Andreas and Naumka Soumbas on February 28th, 1926 in Alona Armensko, Greece. Mum was the eldest daughter of 7 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her devoted children, Sophia (John), Freida (Michael) and John (Maureen).
Loving Baba to 8 Grand-children, 13 Great Grand-children and 7 Great Great Grand-children.

There are not enough words to describe our Mum and Baba. She was "one of a kind". She endured and surpassed many hardships in Armensko and here in Canada.

She loved family above all else and that was always her priorty. Even in her final days our Mother was a devoted, loving, strong, determined, resilient, beautiful woman.

We take comfort knowing that she is now re-united with our Dad. Mum was the heart of our family and the glue that kept us together. Her passing has left a void in our hearts. We will
cherish her love and memories and keep them close to our hearts forever.
