<div itemprop="description">Bowie, Helen (nee Hargrove) After a brave battle, Helen peacefully passed away at home on March 31, 2012, with family at her side. Helen will be greatly missed by close and extended family members as well as many friends. Her gracious presence has been a gift and inspiration to all. The family wishes to thank&nbsp;the doctors, Palliative Care Team of Credit Valley Hospital, Home Support Nurses and Personal Caregivers for their compassionate service.&nbsp; Friends and family will be received&nbsp;at Meadowvale Visitation Center located at 7732 Mavis Road in Brampton (905) 451-3716 on Tuesday April 3 between 2:00-4:00 pm and from 7:00-9:00 pm. A service will be held on&nbsp;Wednesday April&nbsp;4 at 3:00 pm at Streetsville Trinity Anglican Church located at 69 Queen Street in Mississauga. As per Helen`s wishes,&nbsp;donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.</div>
