<div itemprop="description">BRYANT, Heather Leslie Leckie &ndash; Died peacefully surrounded by family the morning of Saturday, February 25, 2012. Her battle with cancer was inspirational. True to her person she defied not only the odds but also her condition. Never one to back down she persevered balancing western and alternative medicines with spiritualism and humanity.&nbsp; Her life was one filled with joy, happiness, adventure, friendship, family, and love. She brought something special to each and every person she ever met. She will be dearly missed by all. Wife and best friend of Edward Bryant and loving mother of Andrew Bryant (Kristina) and Sydney Bryant Kodatsky (Alec). Loved by her children through marriage Stacy Bryant, Jeannie Slade (Paul), Roland Wood (Rita) and the late Ted Bryant. She will be sadly missed by her sisters (Helen, Isabel, Janice) nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and cousins. Born June 18, 1946 in Winnipeg Manitoba to David and Margaret Leckie she spent her youth in Winnipeg. In her early twenties after having spent some time in Vancouver she settled in Toronto making it her home. She worked in film prior to meeting Ed and together they built a very successful business. Passionate about giving back, Heather volunteered with the Minstrel Foundation to bring music lessons to young people. More recently her support helped to establish the Answering TTP Foundation in support of a rare blood disorder that has touched the family. Heather will be remembered for kindness, loving smile, and integrity. She will be forever in our hearts and minds. A service will be held in the chapel at the Visitation Centre at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (East gate entrance) on Friday, March 2, 2012 commencing at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers gifts in memory can be made to the Minstrel Foundation and/or Pancreatic Cancer Canada.&nbsp;</div>
