WEST, Hattie (Brown) daughter of George and Louise (Allen) Pilgrim passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday October 20, 2012.
Hattie is survived by her husband George West, daughter Carlotta Weymouth, Grandchildren Robbin(Ana Liza)Lewis, Brantford On., Kandy Lewis Dartmouth N.S., Glynnis Desmond Toronto, On.,Brian(Shiela)Lewis Toronto,On, Hilary(Kerry)Beals Dartmouth N.S.Her “Baby”Dominique Lewis Brantford On.,Jaylen"Bang Bang” Lewis Dartmouth N.S. 13 Great Grandchidren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren, Godchild Michael Rockley,Special family friends Ken Laporte,and Virgina Rockley.Pre deceased by parents George Pilgram and Louise(Allen)Pilgram,brothers Donald Pigrim,Iriving Pilgrim, and Russell Pilgram, Son in law Peter Weymouth, Grandson Neville Lewis
Hattie was employed at the Victoria General Hospital for over 30 years. She was a member of the Army Navy Airforce Club, and a long time member of the Vimy Legion were she excelled at selling Poppies all in Halifax Nova Scotia. She became an associate of the Centennial Br.614 when she moved to Toronto.
Hattie was an inspiration to all who knew her at 91years old she was still just as fiesty as always, her quick wit and sharp tounge will be remembered by all who knew her.
Service will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery 625 Birchmount Rd. Toronto, On.at 1pm on Thursday October 25, 2012. Public visitation 12pm-1pm Familly visitation 11am-12pm. Online condonelence can be sent to Pine Hills Cemetery and Visitation Centre.
