Harold Patrick Ramroop
December 12, 1949 - January 1, 2016
Harold Patrick Ramroop, died suddenly Friday, January 1st, 2016. He was many things, son of Rose and Paul Ramroop, late of Curepe, Trinidad and Tobago. Father of Rosamund , grandfather to Aiden and Alexander, brother to Frank, Hyacinth, Marilyn, Michael, Christine and Bernard.
Harold was a man who loved to read, and found himself immersed in newspapers and periodicals, and always spent afternoons at the library when he could, meeting friends there and going out for coffee and snacks.
Born in Trinidad, he originally moved to Canada in the 1970's living in Toronto until he'd had enough of the cold weather returning to his native land, where his daughter was born, he returned to Canada later to help run a store with his brother that kept him in Canada for the rest of his life.
Always willing to lend a hand, always quick with a smile, loved by his nephews, nieces and his grandnephews and grandnieces, he will be missed.
"Our dead are never dead to us, until we have forgotten them." George Eliot.
