Passed away peacefully on April 9, 2015 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Gwendolyn (nee Graham), dear father of Heather Curry (deceased), Laurel Oliphant (Randall), Lynne Atwill and Graham Curry (Jo-Ann). Mac married Gwen in 1953 and they had four children while moving across Canada, from Vancouver Island in the west to Ottawa in the east, finally settling in Toronto to raise their family. A Professional Engineer, Mac spent his career with G & H Steel. He was proud of his contribution to Toronto’s CN Tower, TD Centre and several subway stations, among many other significant projects. Mac and Gwen made many good friends in Revelstoke, B.C while he worked on the Columbia River dam prior to retirement. An intelligent, quiet and humble man, Mac had a generous nature and touched many people during his lifetime. He faithfully supported numerous charities, including Sick Kids Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who would do anything for his family. He cared tirelessly for Gwen in their home in Guildwood Village after she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Mac was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
