<div itemprop="description">SUTHERLAND, GWENDOLYN (nee EVANS) Surrounded by her family in Toronto on May 2, 2012, devoted wife of Donald M. Sutherland, adored mother of Sheila Harris (David), Meg Best (Randy), Don/Sandy Sutherland (Lori) of Peterborough and Jock Sutherland of Toronto and grandmother of Gordon Harris, Kirby, Hilary and Rebecca Best and Libby Sutherland. Predeceased by parents William Watson Evans and Mary Thompson Evans and by siblings Gertrude Lawson, Mary Gale, Watson W. Evans and Anne Farncomb.&nbsp; Survived by siblings Buffy Meredith and Dr. John R. Evans (Gay). Gwen&rsquo;s courage, grace and dignity have touched many, especially through these last difficult years. Gwen has donated her body to further research on Alzheimer&rsquo;s. At Gwen&rsquo;s request no service will be held. Many thanks to caregivers Beryl, Jeanne and Janette for their tender and compassionate care of Gwen.
